Hello Ladies,
I am delighted to tell you that we raised over £200 at Saturday’s Garden Party. Thank you to those of you who donated cakes and items and also thank you to those of you that came along and supported us during the afternoon. We had visitors from other WI groups and we enjoyed chatting to them and exchanging ideas. Committee members worked hard all day to make the event a success and this was helped by the lovely setting which our guests appreciated.
This Saturday afternoon, 25th May, at the Village Fete, the Committee are serving tea and cake, so do come along and join in the fun. Any help is welcome and cakes to sell will be gratefully received.
The Book Club is now reading, A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. The review meeting is at the Manor Pub, on Thursday 13th June, at 8pm. Anyone wanting a copy of the book to read, please contact me asap.
Kind regards,
Fillongley Lite WI Committee.

Tuesday 25th June, Social Club, Ousterne Lane, Fillongley, 11am. Fillongley Circular Walk. This was to be our original walk that was cancelled due to bad weather, so here’s hoping for a fine day.
