discussed and voted upon.
We are looking forward to our Speaker Lis Dodd-Sandi, who is
going to talk to us about her life in Zimbabwe.

the Garden Party(May 18th 2-5pm) ,

The Walking Group are
continuing to enjoy exploring the countryside and we have two new dates for your
diary;
Saturday 8th June, Shustoke Reservoir, 11am.
Please bring a picnic lunch to eat in the picnic area after the walk. This
tranquil expanse of water also provides an abundance of wildlife to observe and
is an ideal location for a pleasant and relaxing walk.
Tuesday 25th June, Social Club, Ousterne Lane,
Fillongley, 11am. Fillongley Circular Walk. This was to be our original walk
that was cancelled due to bad weather, so here’s hoping for a fine
day.
Walks are automatically cancelled if it is torrential rain.
The Book Club are next
meeting on Thursday, 13th June at 8pm at The Manor Pub, book choice
to be confirmed hopefully at tomorrow’s meeting, we are now arranging to loan
books as a group from a library.
Kind regards,
