Dear Ladies,
We have our meeting tomorrow at
Fillongley Village Hall at 7.30pm. Our guest speaker is Karen Vanhoff –
Jewellery Designer, there will be an opportunity to purchase jewellery items at
the end of the evening.
Many thanks to those Ladies who kindly brought cakes for us
to sell at the Village Fete and also to Jennifer who came along and helped us
for the afternoon. Despite the rain, we were kept busy serving tea and cake and
we made £150 for WI funds.
Our Book Club is next meeting
on Thursday 24th July, at the Manor Pub, 8pm to review Remarkable
Creatures by Tracy Chevalier.
The Walking Group is going to
meet at Shustoke Reservoir on Sunday 20th July at 11am, please bring
a picnic lunch. Rain cancels the walk automatically.
Those of you interested in joining
the committee, are invited to join us at Fillongley Social Club on
Wednesday 9th July at 8pm, for our next meeting. Feel free to come
along and see what being a committee member is all about.
